About us

Julie Bernier and Cathy Cobb bought Western View in the fall of 2021 to fulfill a promise that Augusta would continue to have a golf course. Western View sits in the state's capitol city. The course has a long, storied history in Maine's public golf community. It is important to maintain the tradition of being an affordable, welcoming golf course for everyone.  See our scorecard below. We aren't fancy or long but we are tough and fun. And, we are a proud member of the Kennebec County Chamber of Commerce.
